Job interview etiquette dictates that you send thank you cards to everyone who interviewed you, even if you’re not sure you want the job. This message can be as simple as “Thank you for seeing me. I really appreciate the time.” But if you are serious about the job, it should convey much more than that.
Many people forget to say that they actually want the job during their job interview. They’re so busy talking about their qualifications and worrying about the next question that they forget to say the obvious: “This position is perfect for me, and I think my skills and experience are a perfect fit for your company.” If this is you, conveying this message in your thank you card is paramount.
