That’s My Grad Contest – Pear Tree Graduation Contest

Congratulations to the parents of the class of 2011!  You have not only survived years of parenting, but you have the most amazing young adult to show for it.  We know the feeling!  It seems like just yesterday you were changing diapers and tying shoes, and now your grad is heading off for a future you could never have imagined. Every proud parent has a story, and we’d like to hear yours.  What makes you feel so lucky to be the parent of a 2011 grad?  Tell us what the past years have been like and what your grad has accomplished—the joys, the setbacks, the proud moments and the challenges you faced together. You could get really lucky and win up to $6,000 for your grad!
DETAILS:
To enter, please share your grad’s story in 175 words or less and upload it along with a photo at Pear Tree Greetings Grad Contest. Entries will be accepted until May 3, 2011, at 11:59 PM. Then it’s up to you to bring in the votes!  Share your entry, via Facebook & email, with family and friends to get votes. Voting will end May 10, 2011, at 11:59 PM. At that time, the top-10 voted entries will become finalists.  From May 10, 2011 @ 12:00 AM to May 17, 2011 @ 12:00 PM, the Pear Tree’s panel of judges will pick the first, second, and third place winners from that group of 10 finalists. The winners will be announced by noon May 18. Judges will base their decisions on the accomplishments of the grad and on how well the story is told.
$11,000 in prizes will be given away to 2011 grads!
$6,000 first place winner
$3,000 second place
$2,000 third place
