Real cards created by real people like you!
This personality-filled graduation announcement caught our eye and made us want to find out more about this young woman. As we suspected, there’s more to her than meets the eye. As if gradating from high school wasn’t enough, this ambitious grad is also graduating from a community college at the same time, having completed all the requirements for an associate degree while in high school. Not only that, she came up with her own graduation announcement ideas and created it herself!
Her mom says, “I have to give all of the credit to Madison for finding Pear Tree Greetings and creating the announcement. I had mentioned to her that maybe she could figure out what she wanted to do for her card, and she found you on Pinterest. The next thing I knew she said, “Hey mom, look at this,” and she had created it. Together we tweaked a few things like flipping a few pictures and then it was done! For me it was such a blessing to have this done early. The cards came so quickly and look fabulous!”
“Madison is our oldest and first to graduate, so this is going to be kind of rough. I have claimed the motto, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” Madison is such an amazing, creative girl! She is the kind of person you can always count on, who chooses to be encouraging to others and takes responsibilities seriously while still having fun. She keeps herself organized with her “planner” and check-off lists. A few years ago she started to collect vintage picnic baskets and now has 9! She has a great group of friends and one of the many things they liked to do on Fridays at school was have picnics.”
Incorporating a phrase from her school’s fight song, “Fly on Pasco Pride is with you,” is another of her graduation announcement ideas that we loved, along with the chalkboard proverb. Through her use of photos and carefully chosen text, she is giving her friends and family a wonderful memento of this important time in her life. Fly on, Madison. You have a bright future ahead of you!
